Black Tears BLACK TEARS

These tears I cry are filled with hate,
Dark décor, this blackened state,
Because of you, and all your sin,
Black tears, I cry from deep within,

I see you and my blood runs cold,
Remembering things, of time untold,
Those secret kisses, years ago,
Those feelings that I once let show,

But time has changed and love is dead,
And all those feelings, now have fled,
No longer can I look at you,
Without this anger flooding through,

The pain, the hate, the rage I feel,
No more do I try to conceal,
I hate the things you make me see
That all you are, and all you'll be,

And all of this because of you,
The things you did, and
Passion PASSION

As I sit and stare into the blackness of the night,
I wonder if this life is really worth the fight,
That every single one of us does go through at some time,
Without a cause or destination, a roadmap or a sign,

Are we here to merely live, to see what we'll come to,
Are we meant for so much more, the things that we can do,
Should we just forget the road and drive it without sight,
Should we put our faith in trust, our love, and all our might,

Can we honestly embrace each moment that we see,
Or is that just a metaphor to reach what we can be,
To try is maybe all we need to get the goal we seek,
And if we don't then is life

Ok so i have been working on this for a while, (a little longer than planned) had hoped to get it done before the AFL started but time got the better of me.

Anyway. wanted to add this in to help all the varied artists out there taking part in the AFL with some more insite into how creature moves (And this is only him moving at half speed :P ) I also wanted to see what people thought of the comic style, how do u like it? hovering over the panels a good way to start the animation??

And just incase your wondering Only 3 panels in this animate, you'll notice the glow if the panel is an animated one.

If you have no idea what the AFL is or anything that i'm talking about. Where have you been you crazy fool!

not so much actually, it took longer than planned but it had been ages since i did any proper animation so it was bound to take longer. i did it in Flash, same as i did for the AFL 3 Entries that i did in this format.

neato- so i has a question; how hard would flash be to use for someone whose never used any animating software, on a scale of one to ten? ^__^

for basic artwork or animation not too hard, these kinda comics are a fair bit more difficult, although there are alot of tutorials for you to get a better grasp of the more advanced things.

so depending on how good you are with computers in general i'd say for the basics to pic up flash would score about a 7 or 8 our of 10

lol, i first started using flash at university about...2 and a half years ago. but the anim-comic thing i developed just before the AFL this year, so it was kinda just a trial thing of seeing how i would work things out and also what people thought of them.

Thought i commented on this. Ah well. nice stuff man, i liked the rooftop jump tracking scene, that was cool. DId you hand draw all those frames are make like a puppet model thing to manipulate?

just hand drew them, keyframed them kinda thing and inbetweened. wanna do more like this, it was fun, am planning out a Creature History comic so i might do something similar in that
